A help desk has been set up in the hospital for the families of the victims, where information is being provided to the relatives of the victims of the accident. The photographs of those who died in the accident have also been released by the hospital so that their relatives can identify their loved ones. Sarfaraz found his wife’s dead body, but he was seen circling from one desk to another in search of his daughter. He told that his daughter is not in the pictures of the dead put up by the hospital.

He said that he had spoken to his wife at 5.30 pm on Friday evening. This gruesome accident happened only after one and a half hours. He said that he has not found the daughter in Balasore hospital, so now he will again go to Bhubaneswar to search for the daughter. He said that someone told him that his daughter might be admitted to the Bhubaneswar hospital. At the same time, some people from Dumka district of Jharkhand also reached Balasore Hospital in search of their loved ones. Five of his relatives were traveling by the Coromandel train and have not been traced since the accident.

Hospitalized 27 still undergoing treatment

According to the administration, 22 passengers have died so far in the Balasore Medical College Hospital. After the accident, 451 injured were brought to the hospital, most of whom died during primary care. Most of the 294 injured admitted in this hospital have been discharged and 27 are still undergoing treatment.

In an initiative by the Indian Railways and the Odisha government, online links have been issued for the people searching for the victims of the accident, on which the names of the people admitted in various hospitals and the pictures of the dead have been released. Moreover, the helpline number was already released by the Railways. Another helpline has also been issued to contact the Municipal Commissioner of Bhubaneswar. Vehicle facility is being provided from here to take the affected families to the hospitals. Meanwhile, the movement of trains has been resumed from Sunday after the tracks were serviced at the accident site.
