Aaditya Thackeray Meets Arvind Kejriwal: Shiv Sena (UBT) leader and former Maharashtra minister Aditya Thackeray on Sunday met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his Civil Lines residence. It is being speculated that both the leaders discussed the current political developments. Kejriwal also shared pictures of his meeting with Thackeray on Twitter.
The Delhi CM tweeted, ‘I had the opportunity to host Aditya Thackeray at my residence today. I had a detailed conversation with him about the current political developments in the country.
The same Aditya Thackeray also shared pictures of his meeting with Arvind Kejriwal and wrote, ‘This morning I met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. During this, MP Priyanka Chaturvedi and AAP leader Sanjay Singh were also present. We discussed many issues. Democracy and the constitution of the country is at stake. We have to protect it in every possible way.
Meanwhile, leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) have decided to meet on Sunday to discuss steps to strengthen their unity for the upcoming polls after Congress’ stupendous performance in the Karnataka assembly polls. In this meeting, MVA leaders will decide the strategy for the upcoming elections.
The meeting has been initiated by NCP chief Sharad Pawar. State Congress chief spokesperson Atul Londhe told The Indian Express, “The meeting will be held at NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s Silver Oak residence.” Apart from this, the meeting is also likely to discuss the avoidance of MVA leaders from speaking in front of television cameras. He says that this sends the wrong message to the people.
