Adipurush Box Office Collection: Amidst all the criticism, ‘Adipurush’ earned so many crores at the worldwide box office
Adipurush Box Office collection: The film has earned 100 crores in Telugu language.
Prabhas and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Adipurush’ was released on June 16. The film is facing protests for its dialogue and portrayal of Lord Shri Ram. But in spite of this the film has earned Rs 390 crores worldwide. Starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan in lead roles, the Om Raut directorial has been mired in controversy ever since its first trailer was released.
Not only the audience of ‘Adipurush’ but the actors of Ramasagar’s Ramayana Lord Ram, Arun Govil, Sita-Deepika Chikhaliya and Laxman-Sunil Lahiri called the film a mockery of the Indian epic. A petition has also been filed against its writer and makers in the Allahabad High Court.
Prabhas fans have saved the filmmakers of ‘Adipurush’ from a huge loss. Despite the worldwide gross collection of 390 crores, the film also earned more than 100 crores in Telugu share as well.
Let us tell you that soon after Karthik Aryan and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’ hit the screens on the occasion of Bakrid on June 29, ‘Adipurush’ flopped at the box office. Although ‘Adipurush’ has made a tremendous opening with 91 crores in all languages and has left Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Pathan’ behind.
