After the death of her husband, they were continuously harassing the woman. At present, the police have registered the case and started investigation. No accused has been arrested so far.
The woman was a resident of Rajasthan
The woman’s name is Sangeeta Lakhra. She was originally from Rajasthan. She was living in Gujarat with her husband. Her husband died after which her in-laws were torturing her mentally and physically. They used to ask the woman why she did not commit sati after her husband’s death. After this, the woman finally committed suicide after getting upset.
Husband had bought the house in the name of both
In fact, the woman’s husband had bought his house in Gujarat. The house was in the name of both husband and wife. Both husband and wife lived there together. After some time the husband died, after which the woman became completely alone. On top of that, the in-laws always used to harass them.

The police officer says that after the death of her husband, the woman had also received Rs 54 lakh as insurance. When the in-laws came to know about this money, they wanted to share in it. They used to say divide the money. Not only this, they also wanted their rights at home. The in-laws always put pressure on the woman. On the other hand, the woman’s mother-in-law said that the house should be named after her.

In this case, police officer MV Patel said that a case has been registered against the woman’s in-laws under various sections. At present, the accused are being searched.
