Film mired in controversies even before its release
‘The Creator Srijanhar’ has been embroiled in controversies even before its release. The trailer of the film has been released on 11 May. The trailer was released at PVR Cinemahall, Connaught Place, Delhi in the presence of the entire cast. At the same time, this film is going to be released in theaters on 26 May.
A day before the release, Bajrang Dal workers gathered outside a multiplex in Ahmedabad and were seen raising slogans of Jai Shri Ram. During this, the workers also said that they will always be ready to defend Hinduism.
A video is also going viral on social media in which activists wearing saffron-coloured ‘gamchas’ are loudly chanting Jai Shri Ram and demanding a ban on the film.
The filmmaker clarified on the controversy
Clarifying the controversy over the film, filmmaker Rajesh Guruji said, ‘We have tried to show in the film that the world can change. I am not afraid of any threats, they love their religion and I cannot do anything about it. I appeal to the followers of all religions not to indulge in riots and violence in the name of religion. Why kill a person in the name of saving religion? Instead of killing religion, the person should be saved. He asked if you want to lose your family.
Talking about the cast of the film, the film stars Raza Murad, Dayanand Shetty and Shruti Panwar in lead roles. This film is directed by Praveen Hingonia. The film will be released in more than 250 theaters across the country.
