Akhilesh Yadav preparing to compete with BJP, major changes are being made within the party

SP has also made a plan to give training to its workers to compete with BJP.

After facing continuous electoral failures, the Samajwadi Party (SP) is now preparing to enter the fray again with a new organizational structure. The SP has also made a plan to train its workers to take on the BJP. This will be done from block to Lok Sabha constituencies.

With this specific objective, Samajwadi Party has assigned the task of reconstituting booth committees in their Lok Sabha constituencies to senior leaders. Preparations are also being made to show the way out to such workers who have been appearing calm for a long time.

What is the new scheme?

These appointed in-charges have been instructed to prepare a new organizational structure in each zone. Each assembly constituency will have at least six zones and each zone will be divided into six sectors. Each sector unit will look after 10-12 booth units. During field work, these Lok Sabha in-charges will also have to interact with workers and public in villages and urban areas.

What did the party leaders tell?

These in-charges have to complete their work by June 5. So that the training camp can start after this. The training camp will be organized in groups of youth workers and local leaders of two constituencies each. A party leader said, “Akhilesh Yadav and other senior leaders will educate the workers about the party’s ideology, BJP government’s failure in governance etc.”

Regarding this new plan of the party, former minister and Kairana Lok Sabha in-charge Sudhir Panwar said, ‘SP is a people-based party. But in the current political situation, the party needs to come out in a new way to present its ideology on political matters, that is why many major changes are being prepared within the party.

Another Samajwadi Party leader said that SP is a mass-based party which does not differentiate between voters, we are trying to improve the structure of the organization according to the political situation instead of UP.

In charge has also been posted in Rae Bareli and Amethi

Lok Sabha constituencies where such in-charges have been appointed include Amethi and Rae Bareli, where the SP gave a “walkover” to the Congress in the last Lok Sabha elections. MLA Indrajit Saroj is in charge of Rae Bareli as well as Kaushambi and Pratapgarh. In Amethi, the party has deployed former MLCs Sunil Sajan and Anand Bhadauria and former MLA Arun Verma.
