This woman named Aniksha allegedly contacted Amruta Fadnavis for the first time in November 2021. According to the FIR, Amruta Fadnavis said that the woman sent her video clips, voice notes and messages from an unknown number on February 18 and 19. According to a report in The Indian Express, Amruta Fadnavis told the police that the woman claimed to be a designer of clothes, jewellery, and shoes.
