Arvind Kejriwal has been meeting prominent political leaders across the country to garner support against the ordinance passed by the Center designating the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi as the administrator.
Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met BRS chief and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Arvind Kejriwal has been meeting prominent political leaders across the country to garner support against the ordinance passed by the Center designating the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi as the administrator. The Supreme Court recently passed an order giving the Delhi government the power to make laws and post or transfer bureaucrats.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has sought time to meet Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and former President Rahul Gandhi. On Friday, Arvind Kejriwal wrote a letter to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge seeking time from him. Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge this morning to seek Congress support in Parliament against the undemocratic and unconstitutional ordinance passed by the BJP government and to discuss the general attack on the federal structure and the current political situation.” Have sought time to meet ji and Rahul Gandhi ji.
Arvind Kejriwal has met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, NCP chief Sharad Pawar. These leaders have also given their support to Arvind Kejriwal.
Sharad Pawar had said ‘everyone should support Kejriwal’
Arvind Kejriwal has also met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar regarding this matter. Supporting him, Sharad Pawar said, “We will also talk to other leaders to support Kejriwal. We should focus on bringing all non-BJP parties together”. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that if all non-BJP parties come together, the bill to be brought on the central government’s ordinance to control services in Delhi can be stopped from passing in the Rajya Sabha.
