Bhagalpur: STF caught mini gun factory near police station, two smugglers nabbed with 20 semi-made pistols

SP City Swarna Prabhat said that in-depth interrogation of both the arrested arms smugglers revealed that Rs 50,000 was given as advance to Faizal Ansari for purchase of arms.

The STF team raided a house in Champanagar, Nathnagar police station area of ​​Bhagalpur and disclosed the mini gun factory. According to City SP Suvarna Prabhat, twenty semi-made pistols have been recovered in the raid. Along with this, weapons making machines, parts and accessories have been found. STF has also seized a Pulsar bike from the spot. After catching both the arms smugglers and bringing them to Nathnagar police station, intensive interrogation was done.

The police identified the arrested weapon smugglers as Late Jagbahira resident of Vasudevpur under Kotwali police station area of ​​Munger district. Guddu Sharma, son of Devi Sharma and Sanjay Kumar, son of Kare Lal Mandal, resident of Gyan Das Tola, Tintanga Diyara under Rangra Chowk OP area of ​​police district Navagachia. During interrogation, both of them told the police that Mohd. was living in a rented house in Champanagar Hakim Shah Mohammad Lane. Aslam Ansari’s son Mohd. Faizal Ansari is running a mini gun factory from there itself. This house It is of Mannan. The work of making illegal weapons was going on on the first and second floor of this house itself. Faizal was living here for almost two years. And used to supply weapons.

It was learned that the STF team had reached Faizal’s house without taking the Nathnagar police along. But no one opened the door of the house even after knocking. Then STF officials took the help of Nathnagar police. It is obvious that the STF is watching the Nathnagar police with suspicion. Here, taking advantage of the opportunity, Faizal ran away. It is being told that Faizal’s maternal grandfather is also in Champanagar area. Police are raiding possible hideouts to arrest him. Police is expressing hope of getting more clues after his arrest.

Both the smugglers had come to Nathnagar from Munger and after taking the weapon, were in a hurry to take the train back to Munger. Meanwhile, STF has caught both of them from near the station.
