Bharat Jodo Yatra: In view of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory.
Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter the national capital Delhi on Saturday (December 23, 2022) amid calls from the Union Health Minister to follow the Covid protocol or postpone the march. The Congress said that all Congressmen will wear masks during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
In view of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory. The yatra will enter Delhi from Badarpur border at 6:30 am on Saturday. The yatra will reach Jai Dev Ashram, near Ashram Chowk at around 10:30 am and end at Red Fort at around 4:30 pm. A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to join the yatra at various places along the route. Traffic will be affected in many areas of the national capital due to this padayatra.
There is a possibility of heavy traffic from Badarpur border to Red Fort. Delhi Police has requested people to cooperate by avoiding and bypassing the affected roads, if possible. Make maximum use of public transport for a pleasant journey. Graded and dynamic diversion will be done for the convenience while ensuring smooth traffic management and ensuring safety of pedestrians on the roads.
Party sources said actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan, family members of freedom fighters and top Congress leaders are expected to join the yatra. Delhi Congress president Anil Chowdhary said at least 40,000 to 50,000 yatris are expected to participate in the yatra in the national capital.
On the other hand, on Friday (December 23, 2022), Rahul Gandhi said in Faridabad that in the last 7-8 years, Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent thousands of crores of rupees in defaming me and the Congress party. The Bharatiya Janata Party can hold as many public meetings as it wants, but where the Bharat Jodo Yatra is going on, there is Covid.
Rahul Gandhi said that I spoke to thousands of youths and they told that they want to become engineers, doctors, IAS. I asked what are you doing now? So they say that they are frying pakodas… There is a rein behind the Prime Minister. The government is not of Narendra Modi but of Adani-Ambani.
