Bharat Jodo Yatra: In view of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory.

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra will enter the national capital Delhi on Saturday (December 23, 2022) amid calls from the Union Health Minister to follow the Covid protocol or postpone the march. The Congress said that all Congressmen will wear masks during the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

In view of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory. The yatra will enter Delhi from Badarpur border at 6:30 am on Saturday. The yatra will reach Jai Dev Ashram, near Ashram Chowk at around 10:30 am and end at Red Fort at around 4:30 pm. A large number of pedestrians and vehicles are expected to join the yatra at various places along the route. Traffic will be affected in many areas of the national capital due to this padayatra.

There is a possibility of heavy traffic from Badarpur border to Red Fort. Delhi Police has requested people to cooperate by avoiding and bypassing the affected roads, if possible. Make maximum use of public transport for a pleasant journey. Graded and dynamic diversion will be done for the convenience while ensuring smooth traffic management and ensuring safety of pedestrians on the roads.
