Jio Cinema may make select shows, titles available in 4K content streaming quality in the coming times.
JioCinema has finally launched its annual subscription plan. The annual subscription plan of JioCinema costs Rs 999. The OTT platform now aims to compete with Amazon Prime Video and Disney Plus Hotstar in the country. Jio has recently partnered with global studios such as HBO and Warner Bros. Now users can watch shows like Game of Thrones, The Last of Us on JioCinema.
JioCinema Premium Subscription Plan
JioCinema Premium can be subscribed through the app or web browser. For both of these, users will have to pay Rs 999 for one year OTT plan. Users who currently have Voot Select plans will get an additional discount on JioCinema subscription. Please tell that Voot Select is also a part of Reliance. However, the company has not shared complete information about this at the moment.
What are the facilities in JioCinema Premium?
The JioCinema Premium subscription plan is valid for 12 months. The company claims that users will get facilities like high-quality video and audio. Going by the current trend, select shows on the platform are available for 4K content streaming. These content will be made available with the support of technologies like Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.
JioCinema service can be accessed from Smartphone, Tablet, Laptop and Smart TV. Similarly, users can use a single account on up to four devices simultaneously.
Do I need a premium subscription to access content on JioCinema?
It is not so, currently IPL 2023, movies and webseries can be accessed on Jio Cinema without premium subscription only. However, content like HBO and Warner Bros. is only available to Premium subscribers. Like Prime Video and Hotstar, the company is expected to launch more affordable subscription plans in the coming days.
