Bigg Boss OTT 2: Akanksha Puri said Salman targeted her, sideline from day one, Eviction from the show was humiliating

Bigg Boss OTT 2: Akanksha Puri was evicted from Bigg Boss OTT 2 on Sunday. He was nominated along with Abhishek Malhan and Jia Shankar. All three were called to the activity area, after which host Salman Khan announced that Akanksha got the least number of votes. She was asked to leave without getting a chance to meet the housemates or interact with Salman. Akanksha has now called it disrespectful, adding that some respect should have been shown.

In a conversation with our associate website Indianexpress.com, Akanksha Puri said that she was targeted on the show from day one. She was called ‘picture perfect’ and ‘flawless’ in the premiere episode. Akanksha said, “I had no friends at home. Also, I entered the show two days late and then spent three days in jail and hence never got a chance to show my game. I had no bed at home for 14 days, I don’t know why I was given this extra punishment.”

He defended himself saying that in real life he is friendly and that is what sets him apart from others. “I use you even during the fight. And people thought I was pretending to be nice. He also had a problem with the fact that I always looked beautiful, even when I woke up and at the gym. Is it my problem if I look good? If you don’t look good, that’s your problem.”

He further explained that people also had a problem with the fact that he had never fought in life. Akanksha said, “One of his problems was that I never slept on the floor, I never had trouble eating. I come from a good background and I thank my parents for this. But you can’t blame me for that, I was just me and not playing a character. And I think that was a problem. This is the reality of the reality show.”

Akanksha Puri talked about her eviction and told that she felt humiliated the way she was thrown out of the house. “Every contestant gets a chance to interact with Salman sir and even the housemates. I was not given a chance and was thrown out of the house before I could react. It was very humiliating and it made me question why everything was against me. Salman sir did not even talk to me during the weekend ka vaar. I felt completely sidelined and I was in pain. But I took everything that came my way but it was very difficult to handle. He never let me play my game.” However, Akanksha shared that she has no regrets on signing up for the show, and has no complaints with the makers.
