Case like Madhya Pradesh in Agra, youth urinated on injured person on road, friend made video – both arrested
The video came to our notice through social media. The victim did not file a complaint. Taking suo motu cognizance, the police registered a case under IPC section 307 and other sections.
Like Madhya Pradesh, a video of Uttar Pradesh’s Agra is becoming fiercely viral on social media these days. The video shows a man urinating on a man lying unconscious on the road in an injured condition. The 30-second video also showed the man kicking the unconscious man on the head, while an accomplice of the accused could be heard abusing the victim.
Police arrested the accused after the video went viral on social media. Police said that the video is about three-four months old. Deputy Commissioner of Police (City) Suraj Kumar Rai said the police have arrested one of the accused and are on the lookout for the others. In a video statement on Twitter, Rai said the police took cognizance after the video went viral.

Commenting on the incident, Agra Deputy Commissioner Suraj Rai said that the accused, identified as Aditya and his accomplice Atul, were passing through a highway when they saw the unconscious man by the side of the road. While Aditya urinated on the man, his friend made a video of his act. The victim was also seen touching the feet of the accused on regaining consciousness. Both Aditya and Atus were taken into custody on Monday after the video of the incident went viral. Police said Aditya has a criminal record and has been jailed in the past for vandalizing a hotel.
Police took action on viral video
The Deputy Commissioner of Police said, “After investigation, the police found that no complaint in this regard was lodged by the victim in any police station in Agra. Later it was found that the video was three-four months old and the accused youth has been identified as Aditya. Aditya has been arrested and a case has been registered against him under Indian Penal Code section 307 (attempt to murder) and other provisions, he added.

On the viral video of a man urinating on another in Uttar Pradesh’s Agra, DCP Suraj Rai said that one more person has also been arrested in the case. Others involved in this will also be arrested soon. Suraj Rai said that we are also investigating other youths involved in the video. The arrested youth Aditya will be produced in the court and legal action will be taken. He said that the victim and the accused belong to the same gang and it seems to be a case of mutual enmity.
