Chandrayaan-3’s focus is on making a safe landing on the lunar surface. According to ISRO Chairman S Somnath, this will be another major success of India in the field of space.

India’s third moon mission Chandrayaan-3 can be launched on July 13, 2023. The launching window of Chandrayaan-3 is July 13 to 19. ISRO Chairman S Somnath on launching says that we will be able to do soft landing on the Moon. The launch day is July 13, it may go up to July 19.

The mission will be launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh at 2.30 pm on July 13, 2023. ISRO Chairman S Somnath said on the question related to the launch, the final date for the launch of Chandrayaan-3 is not fixed yet. The agency can fix a date between July 13 and 19. We are considering a possible date as soon as possible. He said that the work of rocket integration is going on, which can be completed in the next two to three years. After that the test program will run. When all the tests are completed, then the final date of launch will be announced.

Chandrayaan-3 mission is a follow up of Chandrayaan-2.

This mission will be sent into space with the help of GSLV Mark 3 launch vehicle. Earlier it was being said that Chandrayaan-3 mission is a follow up of Chandrayaan-2. Although ISRO S Somnath has said that it is not a replica of Chandrayaan-2. The engineering of the vehicle is completely different. It has been made much stronger than before, so that old problems do not come to the fore. Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft will be launched by LVM3 (Launch Vehicle Mark-III) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota. It will land on the surface of the Moon and conduct tests.

Officials said that after Chandrayaan-2, this mission is being sent to test the capability of safe landing on the lunar surface. Chandrayaan-2 mission failed in the last stage. Its lander hit the Earth’s surface with a shock, after which it lost contact with the Earth’s control room. Chandrayaan-3 is being sent to complete the same incomplete mission. In this, after landing on the surface of the moon, the rover will come out of it and will revolve around the surface.

The payloads in the Lander, Rover and Propulsion Module have been designed in such a way that they help scientists to learn more about the Moon. The propulsion module will take the lander and rover up to 100 km closer to the lunar orbit.
