Delhi Amrita School: Amrita School located in Delhi’s Pushp Vihar has received a bomb threat through e-mail on Tuesday. News agency ANI quoted the police as saying that after the threat, Delhi Police and other teams reached the spot and are investigating. The entire school has been evacuated as a precaution.

The Indian School in Delhi’s Sadiq Nagar was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat e-mail, following which Delhi Police informed the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad. Amid the uproar, the school administration had asked parents to take their children home. According to sources, the school had received an e-mail, following which a person named Brajesh of the school administration called up the police.

Delhi Public School has also received threats

In a similar case, Delhi Public School, Mathura Road in the national capital received a bomb threat through e-mail. The Delhi Fire Service had said on April 12 that the matter was under investigation. After investigation, Delhi Police Commissioner South East Rajesh Deo said that no suspicious object was found in the premises. He said that the situation is normal.

After a special investigation into the Delhi Public School bomb threat case, it was found that a 16-year-old student of the same school had sent the threatening email as a prank. During the counseling of the girl student, she said that a few days ago a similar email was sent to another school in Delhi. The student said that on the basis of the previous case, he played this prank with the school administration.
