Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court on Thursday sent former CEO of event company Only Much Louder (OML) and current communication in-charge of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Vijay Nair to 14-day judicial custody in connection with Delhi excise policy irregularities. Were on CBI remand till 6 October: Earlier, the court had sent Vijay Nair, accused in the liquor scam case, to CBI remand till October 6. Vijay Nair was produced in the court by the CBI after his remand period was over. Special Judge MK Nagpal remanded Nair to judicial custody after the CBI said that his custody was no longer required. The AAP leader will now be produced in the court on October 20.

Special Judge Raghubir Singh in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court had earlier ordered extension of Nair’s custody till October 6. During the hearing, the court had said, “The allegations made in the FIR are serious and a detailed investigation is necessary to reach any factual conclusion. It would be in the favor of justice that the custody of Vijay Nair be extended till 6th of this month.”
