Nutan Thakur, the national general secretary of an organization named Azad Adhikar Sena, has complained to the National Women’s Commission against this statement of Bageshwar Dham chief.
In fact, Dhirendra Shastri, while referring to the vermilion and mangalsutra of women during his narrative in Greater Noida, compared them to an empty plot. After which Nutan Thakur, national general secretary of an organization called Azad Adhikar Sena, has complained against Baba Bageshwar to the National Women’s Commission. Thakur has alleged that Dhirendra Shastri used abusive words for women during the Bhagwat Katha organized in Greater Noida, due to which the women of India are feeling ashamed and humiliated.
Dhirendra Shastri compared women to vacant plots
Nutan Thakur claimed that after the statement of Dhirendra Shastri, all kinds of indecent comments are being made for women by making memes on social media. He said, “Dhirendra Shastri said during his Katha in Greater Noida that for those women who do not have vermilion and mangalsutra around their neck, we understand that this plot is still vacant.”
The general secretary of Azad Adhikar Sena said that it is wrong to compare a woman with a plot and make such indecent remarks about women. This is playing with the honor of women. He said that taking these facts into cognizance, immediate action has been demanded from the National Commission for Women.
Objection to Baba Bageshwar’s statement
It is noteworthy that Baba Bageshwar Dham did a seven-day Bhagwat Katha in Greater Noida, which ended on Saturday. During this, he had said that a woman who has got married has two identities, vermilion and mangalsutra. If a woman does not have vermilion and mangalsutra around her neck, then understand that the plot is empty. He said that the one who has vermilion in his demand and Mangal Sutra around his neck, then we can see from a distance that the registry has been done.
