The thieves who ran away after robbing a cab were caught by the Delhi Police within minutes with drops of their blood. The thieves had fled after stealing the mobile phone of a cab driver. The police traced them with drops of blood and reached them. Both of them broke the windshield of a cab, showed the driver a knife, snatched his mobile phone and went and hid in a park.

Police officials said that the incident took place at 4.20 am on Monday. At that time the cab driver Santosh was in Sarai Rohilla, Delhi. Then two people came on a scooty and broke the glass of the side-windows with a stone. They then showed the knife to the driver, snatched his phone and fled.

The officer said that after this, before checking the CCTV footage, the police noticed that drops of blood were lying on the road. The police followed those blood drops for 100 meters and then reached a park where the thief Rahul alias Suraj was standing between two trees. He was then taken to the hospital as he had a head injury due to hitting the cab. After this, the driver’s phone was recovered from the house of another thief Imran. However, he is currently absconding.

Meanwhile, a man has been arrested for harassing a woman by uploading her objectionable pictures and mobile phone number on social media platforms. According to Delhi Police, the accused has been identified as Amandeep Kumar, a resident of Kapurthala, Punjab. According to the police, he is unemployed and he is addicted to pornographic videos. The incident came to light after a 24-year-old woman complained about it, a senior police officer said.
