Earthquake tremors will not affect Ram temple, there is no need for repair for a thousand years, this is how construction work is going on in Ayodhya
The number of laborers engaged in the construction work of Ram temple has been increased from 550 to 1600. This has been done so that the work can be done faster and the devotees can have darshan of Lord Ramlala by January 2024. Earlier this work used to be done only for 18 hours a day, now it is running for 24 hours.
The ongoing Ram temple construction work in Ayodhya is going on very fast and under the strict supervision of the engineers. Every material used in the construction of the temple is being used in the highest quality and in the right quantity. Because of this the Ram temple is becoming very strong and rigid. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai says that the temple will not need repair for the next one thousand years. He even claimed that the temple would not be affected even by an earthquake of up to 6.5 levels on the Richter scale.
The foundation is 50 feet deep, only stones and cement have been used.
According to media sources, the Larsen & Toubro company engaged in the construction work of the temple says that the thickness of the pillars has been increased and heavy stones have been placed on the walls. The foundation has also been made very strong. The whole building has been given such strength from top to bottom that it will remain stable even with the biggest shock. The foundation is 50 feet deep and made entirely of stones, cement and other materials. Steel and iron have not been used anywhere.

Now in the sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor of the complex, where the idol of Lord Ram will be consecrated in a grand ceremony in January 2024, only flooring and electrical work is left.
Talking to The Indian Express, Jagdish Afale, project manager of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, said that the ground floor and first floor would be ready by January. He said, “At present, our priority is to complete the work of the ground floor by December, so that life can be restored here. The construction of the first floor has also started from July 1. The work of slabs and pillars in its main structure will be completed by January.
