Muslim personal law allows more than one wife, it is against equality. If the husband can keep many wives, then the woman should also get the same right. It is against our law to marry more than one. I already follow the Common Civil Code. I will give equal property to my daughter and son.
Saif Abbas Naqvi objected to Javed Akhtar’s statement
Saif Abbas Naqvi, President of All India Shia Chand Committee objected to Javed Akhtar’s statement and said that ‘this statement is shameful’. One statement advised women to have multiple husbands.
