Despite this, some tourists started going towards the waterfall walking from the tracks, then the railway police caught them and made them do sit-ups.

It can be seen in the video that the crowd of tourists is standing on the track and there is railway police in front, which is preventing them from moving forward.
Tourists come here from Bangalore, Mangaluru, Belagavi, Uttara Kannada, Hubli-Dharwad, Bagalkot, Pune and other districts of Maharashtra to reach Dudhsagar Falls. Tourists usually walk on the tracks of the South Western Railway line after getting down at Colam station in South Goa, some also do trekking. However, it was put on hold due to rain.
Railways had already tweeted saying, ‘We urge you to enjoy the beauty of Dudhsagar Falls from inside your coach. Walking on/along the tracks not only endangers your own safety but is also an offense under section 147, 159 of the Railway Act. This can also threaten the safety of trains. ,
Along with this it has been said, ‘It is prohibited to get off at Dudhsagar or any other station of Braganza Ghat. All passengers are requested to cooperate and follow the prescribed rules for their safety.
