In fact, Tesla has taken the first step towards starting operations in India. Tesla India Motor & Energy Pvt Ltd has taken a leased office in Panchsheel Business Park, Pune. At present, all Tesla executives are working in this office, where they will gradually start up their activities. It is said that all kinds of meetings will be held in this office.
Office leased for 60 months
According to real estate analysis company CRE Matrix, Tesla will pay a monthly rent of 11.65 million rupees and a security deposit of 34.95 million rupees to lease the office for 60 months. The Panchsheel Business Park is currently under construction and has a total area of 10,77,181 square feet.
But Tesla’s subsidiary has taken a 5,580 sq. ft. office space on the second floor of wing B of the Panchsheel Business Park. The contract is with Tablespace Technologies Private Limited. Its rate will start on October 1, 2023, and the two companies have agreed a 60-month lock-in period with a 5 percent increase each year.
