In fact, in Undhela village of Kheda district, people were enraged by the public thrashing of youths of the village by the police during Navratri. According to the allegation, some Muslim youths allegedly threw stones at a Garba programme, after which the video of the police tying them to a pole and thrashing them went viral on social media. Apart from beating, some Muslim youths were also arrested.

On the other hand, regarding the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police VR Bajpai had told PTI-language that after the registration of the FIR, the police had detained 13 people. Along with this, a large number of police forces were deployed in the village after the incident. News agency PTI had reported that a mob of around 150 people pelted stones at a garba program in the premises of a temple on October 3.

In the video that came out regarding the beating, some policemen in plain uniform were beating the youths, while the crowd in front was seen cheering them.
