A three-judge bench headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Dr. DY Chandrachud has asked the Varanasi administration to hold a meeting with all the parties concerned in the matter on Tuesday. The court has given the next date for hearing on this petition filed by the Muslim side.

In the petition, permission was sought for Vaju at the same old place which is near the alleged Shivling found in the excavation. It has been said in the petition that ablution has been done for years at the place where the fountain is located. He also had washrooms nearby. The place is sealed after the order of the Supreme Court last year to secure it.

Consider the request of the Gyanvapi Masjid Management Committee to make arrangements. Justice PS Narasimha and Justice JB Pardiwala are also included in this bench of the Supreme Court.
