Vicky Kaushal recently recalled his father’s struggling days during an interview. He has told that his father used to set himself on fire without safety.

For this the actor worked very hard. Even though his father Shyam Kaushal is an action director of Bollywood, he gave a middle class life to his son Vicky.
Now in a recent interview, Vicky Kaushal has recalled the days of his father’s struggle. The actor told that when he was young, his father used to hide his problems from him and younger brother Sunny. At the same time, in this interview, apart from parents and his struggle, Vicky also talked about the funny taunts he gets from his mother.
Father faced difficulties
In an interview to Film Companion, Vicky said, “Papa was a stuntman before becoming an action director. He worked in this industry as a stuntman for 10 years. He worked very hard for us. In those days, it was very difficult for him to get safety precautions. Despite this, he used to do stunts. He set himself on fire, jumped from a 10-storey building without safety and don’t know what he did. But if they don’t do this then how would they nurture us? He fell, his hand was fractured. He didn’t even have the money to get his treatment done because it was necessary for him to feed us for two times. His bone is still broken.
Mother used to troll at home
Vicky further said that Papa always explains to me the difference between other actors and me. He says that like other actors, I do not have to wander in this city to find a house. Because here I have home and family both. The actor further said that I remember once in 2018 or 19, a newspaper had published a list of Most Desirable in which my name appeared. At the same time, I had returned from a trip after having fun with friends and eating a lot. Seeing me in an open shirt, my mother told me, ‘Yeh dekho, yeh hai most desirable’. When trolling happens at home, you can only listen silently.
