Honda has unveiled its full electric car Honda e:Ny1 at an event held in Germany. Honda has decided to launch this car in the market considering the space available in the electric car segment. Honda e:Ny1: Exterior
Honda has made a combination of modern and conventional style in this full electric car. This combination makes the car look quite muscular. The front sports LED headlights and a Honda logo along with the charging port at the bottom. Chrome accents are placed on the lower part of the front bumper and on the side body cladding.
Apart from this, the ORVMs and wheel arches are blacked out and the rims get the Honda ‘H’ logo on the hub caps. It has been given a special design in the rear side, regarding which the company believes that this design will be made for all future EVs. The lighting at the rear is joined by an LED strip which also gets a few chrome accents.

On entry, the car gets features like full digital instrument cluster, steering wheel with leather strap cover, cruise control, 15.1-inch portrait-style touchscreen panel in the center, gear selector, drive mode selector, wireless car charging and panoramic sunroof in the console. .
Honda e:Ny1: Powertrain and driving range
The full electric Honda e:NY1 is built on Honda’s all-new e:N Architecture F, which is a front-motor-driven platform. The car gets a 68.8kWh capacity lithium-ion battery back onboard which is mated to an electric motor. It generates 201bhp and 310Nm of peak torque. According to Honda, this battery gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in 45 minutes when charged with a fast charger. The company claims that once fully charged, this electric car will get a driving range of 412 km.
Honda e:Ny1: Rivals
The company has not yet announced the price of the full electric Honda E:NY1, but after its launch, this electric car will compete with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6.
