In the elections held in Karnataka, the Congress won by making 40 per cent commission an issue. He feels that the BJP commissioned 50 percent of the seven sages’ idols installed in the Mahakaleshwar temple corridor.

When six of the seven idols of seven sages installed in the Mahakaleshwar temple corridor fell due to strong wind, Congress’s arms blossomed. The party feels that it has got an issue of its own in the electoral state. Apart from linking the idols to China, the Congress is also involving Gujarat in this matter. He says that the idols made by the BJP to the seven sages were made from China. At the same time, the Gujarat firm got the tender to make them.

The special thing is that in the elections held in Karnataka, the Congress won by making 40 per cent commission an issue. He feels that the BJP commissioned 50 percent of the seven sages’ idols installed in the Mahakaleshwar temple corridor. That’s why people’s faith was deeply hurt. The Congress says that the BJP did not leave even God in commission Khori. According to the Congress, this is a big attack on the faith of the people.

The Mahakaleshwar Temple Corridor was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi himself in the month of October last year. BJP had promoted it vigorously. According to the PMO, the total budget of the corridor is 850 crores. However, along with the BJP, the Congress has also been taking the credit for building the corridor. Kamal Nath, who was the CM of Madhya Pradesh, says that the outline of this project was prepared in 2019 during his tenure. Its budget was then kept at 300 crores.

Kamal Nath’s Fact Finding Committee made sharp allegations

After the idols fell in Mahakal, Kamal Nath also formed a fact finding committee. Former minister and Congress MLA Sajjan Singh Verma, who was a member of the committee, says that the Shivraj government of BJP got the idols made from China. He says that although the BJP talks about boycotting goods made in China, the material used to make the idols of the Mahakal Corridor was prepared in China. He says that Fiber Rainforest Plastic (FRP) was used to make the idols. This material is of very poor quality.

BJP on backfoot after Congress allegations, minister showed documents

BJP’s Shivraj government is on the backfoot on Congress’s allegations. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh, while defending the fall of the idols, said that the Congress government had decided to use FRP in the construction of idols. The BJP minister showed the documents and said that in 2019, the Congress government had approved the making of 100 idols from FRP. The BJP government has spent Rs 96.97 crore on the project. He says that idols made of FRP have been installed in hundreds of temples, including Akshardham Temple in Delhi, because they are very light.
