Bihar News: Former Bihar MP Anand Mohan Singh addressed a public meeting on Wednesday for the first time after his release from jail. Meanwhile, Anand Mohan Singh declared himself innocent in the murder of young IAS officer G Krishnaiah. He said that all the allegations against me are false and baseless.
Former Bahubali MP Anand Mohan Singh was addressing a public meeting in Bihar’s Araria district. Addressing the public meeting, Anand Mohan Singh said, ‘This country is not anyone’s fiefdom. Everyone has watered it with their own blood. I believe in law and constitution. He said that I have served jail term of more than 15 years without any complaint. If the government believes that I am guilty, then I am ready to be hanged.
Anand Mohan Singh was initially sentenced to death by a trial court in 2007. However, that was commuted to life imprisonment by the Patna High Court in 2008. Subsequently, the Supreme Court in July 2012 upheld his conviction for the alleged murder of Gopalganj District Magistrate G Krishnaiah. The DM of Gopalganj was murdered in 1994.
After the release of Anand Mohan, the politics of Bihar is hot. As a result of this, local BJP MP Pradeep Kumar Singh and two BJP MLAs did not share the stage with him in the program. On Wednesday, there was an unveiling ceremony of the statue of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh in the fancy market of Farbisganj in Araria district. In this, Anand Mohan Singh and his wife Lovely reached Anand. The program was organized under the chairmanship of District Kshatriya Samaj President Arun Kumar Singh.
Anand Mohan Singh recalled the contribution of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh in his address during the unveiling programme. He said that he belongs to the family of freedom fighter. Referring to the famous case, he said that he is innocent in the IAS G Krishnaiah murder case. Despite serving the sentence, seven people were sentenced to life imprisonment in the murder case with him, but six were released. He served the punishment which he did not commit.

Singh said that leaders of political parties are giving various statements in the present times to shine their politics regarding G Krishnaiah’s murder case and his release from jail. During this, Anand Mohan Singh named two leaders. Said that if you want to know about them, ask LK Advani and Naveen Patnaik what they are. Said that he has always been a person fighting the battle of principle. Singh said that Lovely Anand had shouted in Parliament and demanded a CBI inquiry into the matter and had said that if my husband is guilty, hang him, but the CBI inquiry was not done.
