The Indian women’s cricket team leveled the three-match series 1-1 after beating Bangladesh by 108 runs in the second ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka on Wednesday. India scored 228 for eight with half-centuries from Jemima Rodrigues (86) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (52). In response, the Bangladesh team was bundled out for just 120 runs in 35.1 overs.
Jemima did brilliantly with the ball as well. He took 4 wickets for 3 runs in 3.1 overs. Smriti Mandhana (36) and Harleen Deol (25) also played useful innings for India. Fargana Haq (47) and Ritu Mandal (27) were the only ones able to stand up to the Indian bowlers for Bangladesh. The third and final ODI will be played here on Saturday.

Bangladesh team won the toss and decided to bowl first. Team India did not have a good start. Priya Poonia returned to the pavilion after scoring 7 runs in the 5th over.
