Instagram Threads: Mark Zuckerberg tweeted hints for the launch of Instagram Threads.
Instagram Threads: Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been on the microblogging platform for over a decade. However, Zuckerberg has now tweeted for the first time in 11 years. In this tweet, Mark is shown pointing to the iconic Spiderman on a Spiderman meme. Through this, he has announced the launch of Meta’s new app Threads, which has come to compete with Twitter.
Threads is the latest microblogging social media platform developed by Meta to compete with Twitter. According to Zuckerberg, two million users joined this platform in just two hours. While within 7 hours 10 million users have signed up on the app. Zuckerberg anticipates that Threads will soon become a mainstream platform for public conversation with more than 1 billion users.
Open and Friendly Public Space Threads
Mark Zuckerberg said in a post on Threads that the platform was designed with a vision of creating an open and friendly public space for conversation. The best features of Instagram have been included in this app and users will get a new and unique experience. Users will be able to upload photos and videos along with creating posts on this new social media platform.
Instagram head Adam Mosseri mentioned that Threads ranks posts and also provides recommendations from unfollowed accounts. This is an important thing in terms of a new platform.
Let us know that Threads has been officially launched on 6 July 2023. However, it seems that Mark Zuckerberg already had access to it as his first post on the threads dates back to July 4. Threads is currently available to download on both Android and iOS platforms.
