Rayudu had announced his retirement earlier also
Rayudu played for Mumbai Indians from 2010 to 2017. In the year 2018, he played for Chennai Super Kings and scored 602 runs in 16 matches. Rayudu announced his retirement on 14 May 2022. Although later this tweet was deleted. Rayudu then wrote, ‘This will be my last IPL. It was a wonderful journey with two teams in 13 years.
In the year 2019 also, Rayudu had announced his sudden retirement from international cricket. He was not selected for the World Cup during 2019. However, he took a U-turn from retirement and then played in the IPL. Had said goodbye to first class cricket in the year 2018. He scored 1694 runs in 55 matches for Team India which includes three centuries. During this, his average was 47.05. At the same time, he scored 42 runs in six T20 matches.
