Junaid-Nasir Murder Case: The Rajasthan Police has denied a woman’s allegation that her pregnant daughter-in-law had lost her baby after being assaulted during a raid on their house. The woman had alleged that the police had come to raid her house to arrest her son in connection with the alleged abduction and murder of two persons by cow vigilantes and during that time her daughter-in-law was manhandled by Rajasthan police personnel, due to which she died. The pregnant daughter-in-law lost her child.

In her complaint, Dulari Devi, mother of Shrikant Pandit, a member of a cow protection group led by local Bajrang Dal leader Monu in Manesar, also alleged that the police forcibly took away her two other sons. Bharatpur Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh told that Rajasthan and Haryana police had definitely gone to Pandit’s house, but they did not go inside. He said that the accused was not present. His two brothers had come out of the house and were released after questioning. The allegations made by the woman are false. His family members are accused, so he is making these allegations.

The Rajasthan Police had named five people associated with the Bajrang Dal in the case. Monu and Shrikant Pandit are among the four people who are evading arrest in connection with the death of two people from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur. The charred bodies of two youths of Rajasthan’s Bharatpur were found in Bhiwani (Loharu) of Haryana on Thursday. Dulari Devi alleged that her family members, including women, were manhandled by the Rajasthan Police team during the incident on Friday morning. The complainant alleged that a team of over 40 personnel of the Rajasthan Police forcibly entered his house and asked about Srikant’s whereabouts.

Dulari Devi claimed that they thrashed me and my son’s pregnant wife Kamlesh when I told them that my son was not at home. They hurled abuses and took my two sons Vishnu and Rahul with them and we still don’t know their whereabouts. Dulari Devi claimed that nine months of her daughter-in-law’s pregnancy had been completed. The woman said that the police also kicked Srikanth’s pregnant wife in the stomach and she started having stomach pain. She was admitted to Mandi Kheda Hospital and was soon referred to Nalhar Medical College, where her baby was born dead. Dulari Devi said that her daughter-in-law is still hospitalized in critical condition.

A police officer said Junaid had a criminal record of cattle smuggling and had five cases registered against him in different police stations.
Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh had earlier said that based on a complaint lodged by the family members of the victims, a police case was registered against five persons — Anil, Srikant, Rinku Saini, Lokesh Singla and Monu — at the Gopalgarh police station.
