SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also targeted the BJP over Congress’s victory in Karnataka. Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, “The message from Karnataka is that the ‘end’ of BJP’s negative, communal, corrupt, rich-oriented, anti-women-youth, social-divisive, false propaganda, individualistic politics has begun.” This is a strict mandate of new positive India against inflation, unemployment, corruption and disharmony.
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted the victory of Karnataka, writing, ‘The ruthless authoritarian and majoritarian politics has been defeated. Hats off to the people of Karnataka for giving a decisive mandate in favor of change. When people want democratic forces to win, no central design can stop it.
NCP Chief Sharad Pawar said that the trend of Karnataka election results will continue till 2024. Our target is to defeat BJP. BJP is out of power in Rajasthan, Delhi, Jharkhand, Punjab, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana and West Bengal. Pawar said that Congress has benefited from Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Karnataka. He said that the NCP had also contested some seats in Karnataka, but it was just an attempt. He said that the people of Karnataka have rejected the slogan ‘Modi hai to mumkin hai’.
