Karnataka Elections: ‘Will do anything to keep BJP out of power’, said Yatindra, son of former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah before the results

Congress has taken lead in Karnataka trends. Eager to get an edge in the elections, Congress workers have started celebrating in the Delhi office.

The counting of votes for the 224 seats in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly is being held at 36 centers on Saturday (May 13). In the initial trends, Congress is being shown getting majority or it is emerging as the largest party. Meanwhile, Yatindra Siddaramaiah, son of former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah told the media before the results that we will do anything to keep the BJP out of power.

Yatindra Siddaramaiah, Congress leader and son of former CM Siddaramaiah said, “We will do anything to keep BJP out of power. In the interest of Karnataka, my father should become the CM.” Yatindra Siddaramaiah further said, “As a son I would definitely like to see my father as the Chief Minister again. Last time his government had governed very well, this time also if he becomes the CM then the misrule given by the BJP government will be rectified by him.”

Siddaramaiah’s son said that in the interest of the state also, I think he should become the chief minister. The Congress leader said, “We will get absolute majority and will form our government. We are confident and all the surveys have also said that Congress is going to win the Karnataka assembly elections.”

On the other hand, seeing the Congress getting an edge in the initial trends, Congress leader Pawan Kheda said, “It is a matter of issues, the issues on which we fought have been won. We are going to form our government with a huge majority. Our five guarantees have worked, PM Modi’s negative campaign has not worked.”
