At the same time, after the results, Karnataka CM Basavaraj Bommai said that after all the results, we will do a detailed analysis and as a national political party, we will look at our shortcomings at various levels, rectify them and reorganize it and return to the Lok Sabha elections. .
After the victory in Karnataka, former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said, “The Congress party is going to get a clear majority. We had also said during the campaign that the Congress would get around 130 seats. This is a big win. The people of Karnataka wanted a change. They were fed up with the BJP government.”
Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar said after the victory, “I give credit to my workers and leaders of my party who have worked so hard, people have exposed the lies. I had assured victory to Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. I can’t forget when Sonia Gandhi came to meet me in jail, I chose to stay in jail instead of holding office, the party had that much faith in me.”
