SKM meeting held
SKM meeting was held on Saturday at Gurudwara Dera Kar Sewa in Karnal, Haryana. During the meeting on Saturday, the union condemned the Income Tax department’s raids on Punjab singers including Kanwar Grewal and Ranjit Bawa, who supported the farmer’s movement against the three farm bills.
In the upcoming mahapanchayat in January, further action will be discussed by SKM demanding immediate action against the accused of Lakhimpur Kheri incident. The demand for the removal of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra from the cabinet will also be discussed in the mahapanchayat.
During the farmer’s movement, there will be a discussion on the demands of SKM to withdraw the lawsuits filed against the farmers. SKM’s call for the release of farmers lodged in jails will also be discussed.
Tell that the Ministry of Home Affairs will withdraw 86 cases registered against the farmers involved in the 14-month-long farmer’s movement. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait will give information about this. Rakesh Tikait said, “Railways will also withdraw all the cases. This shows the policy of the Center that better come late than never. After this, Rakesh Tikait raised the issue of violence in Allahabad University. He tweeted, “The university administration has done the work of suppressing the voice of students protesting peacefully in Prayagraj against the 400% fee hike. The university administration and the Government of India should take cognizance of this and the demands of the students should be fulfilled immediately.
