Hailing from Patna, Bihar, Kriti has won six gold medals. Kriti Raj Singh is a resident of Badi Hasanpur village in Dehati area of ​​Khusrupur, Patna. Kriti Raj has won a total of six gold medals in different competitions in the 57 kg sub-junior category. Kriti is pursuing B.P.Ed from Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Guwahati. Kriti Raj started the sport of power lifting from this college.

Kriti got three bronze medals in the power lifting competition held in Hyderabad from July 5, 2022 to July 10, 2022. After this, Kriti Raj was selected in the Commonwealth Games to be held in New Zealand. She has become the first female player from Bihar to participate in sub-junior powerlifting in the Commonwealth. Her father Lalan Singh had mortgaged his farm to send his daughter to Auckland.

According to Kriti, his father Lalan Singh initially refused to play, but he agreed after the persuasion of elder brother Prince. When he won medals at the state level, they started promoting him. When he needed money to send her to New Zealand to play, he mortgaged his farm. According to Kriti’s mother Sunayana Devi, initially when the daughter used to go to play, the people of the village and neighborhood used to taunt her. Ignoring his taunts, he let the daughter play. Kriti is the youngest of five sisters. Since childhood, Kriti used to work hard in playing along with studies. The result of this is that the daughter achieved this success.

According to coach Karan, I could not go even after being selected in the International Powerlifting Championship due to financial constraints, but my student Kriti made my dream come true by achieving this success. I used my gym’s cross trainer machine to get him the kit.

Kriti came to Patna in 2019 to pursue her 12th standard after completing her 10th standard. Used to do weightlifting since ninth grade. Won many medals at the state level in weightlifting. When she went to coach Karan in Patna to learn weightlifting from him, he said that training for power lifting (three-time weight lifting) is available here. Kriti says that after winning the medal everyone gives respect, but before winning it would be better if the players get help. Financial help was needed to go to New Zealand. For this, I sought financial help from the government, but did not get any help.
