Know what RJD’s National Vice President Shivanand Tiwari said?
The statement of RJD National Vice President Shivanand Tiwari has come to the fore after the name of Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav appears in the CBI chargesheet. Tiwari said that Tejashwi Yadav himself had said that his name would appear in the charge sheet. The kind of atmosphere that is prevailing now and the kind of politics that BJP is doing, this had to happen but there will be no change in our politics. We are ready to make any sacrifice to prevent the country from becoming a Hindu Rashtra.
The alleged Land for Job scam took place when Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister. This time was between 2004-09. Then there was the government of YPA-1 at the center. The CBI alleges that several people were appointed to Group ‘D’ posts in various zones of the Indian Railways. In return, the people concerned had given their land to the family members of the then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav and to the beneficiary company in this case ‘AK Infosystems Pvt Ltd’.
In this case, the CBI had questioned former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi. In this regard, ED had conducted raids in several states of the country in the past. There were reports that the ED had received information about a transaction of Rs 600 crore used in the crime. In this case, ED Tejashwi Yadav has interrogated many other people related to his sister Misa Bharti Samete case.
In this case, the names of Lalu Yadav’s close and former MLA Bhola Yadav and Hridayanand are also involved. Bhola Yadav was arrested by the CBI on July 27, 2023. Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009, during which Bhola Yadav was his OSD. The case pertains to alleged railway jobs given to Lalu’s family in lieu of gift or sale of land. It is alleged that 7 people were given jobs in exchange of land, in which 2 lands were gifted to Lalu’s family, while the remaining 5 lands were bought at a high cost. It is alleged that the land was also taken in the name of Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti. The land was acquired at a price lower than the prevailing circuit rate and much lower than the market rate. CBI is investigating this matter.
