Lok Sabha Elections: ‘Defeating Narendra Modi is not child’s play’, Ramdas Athawale gave this challenge to the opposition
Ramdas Athawale said that the opposition should oppose Modi as much as possible but Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister in 2024 as well.
Opposition meeting is going to be held in Bengaluru and it will discuss defeating BJP led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. At the same time, BJP’s ally RPI President and Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has given a big statement on this meeting. He said that the NDA will win more than 350 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister of India for the third time. Apart from this, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale on Monday also challenged the opposition parties to announce a name for the candidature for the post of Prime Minister.
The only agenda of the opposition is to remove Modi – Ramdas Athawale
Talking about the meeting of opposition parties in Bengaluru, Athawale said that the only agenda of opposition party leaders is to oppose Modi. Athawale said that NDA meeting is being held in Delhi on July 18 and new parties are joining NDA to support Narendra Modi and his party is also supporting Modi for 2024 elections.
He said that Narendra Modi is working for the people of all religions and communities but the only aim of the opposition is to defeat Narendra Modi, which is not possible. He said that the opposition wants to defeat Narendra Modi but defeating Narendra Modi is not a child’s play. Narendra Modi has worked for the country. In the last nine years, the Modi government has worked to strengthen the country in various fields.
Ramdas Athawale said that the opposition parties are coming together (referring to the Bengaluru meeting) and they have the right to oppose Narendra Modi. Our (NDA government) agenda is only development of the country and people and that’s why people are with Narendra Modi. I am confident that NDA will win more. He claimed that Modi is the number one popular leader not only in India but in the whole world and the opposition is trying to defame such a leader.
Ramdas Athawale said that the opposition should oppose Modi as much as possible but Narendra Modi is going to become the Prime Minister in 2024 as well. Leaders of some 23-24 parties are attending the (Opposition) meeting in Bengaluru, but they don’t have any minister (PM face). I ask the opposition to announce a name for the PM candidate, as NDA has only one PM face and that is Narendra Modi who is our PM candidate. When you (Opposition) say you are all one, declare one.
Ramdas Athawale: Let the opposition do whatever they want to do, but we are confident that we (NDA) will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with more than 350 seats. On Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Athawale said the proposed law is not against the Muslim community. He said that UCC is not against Muslims. This (UCC) will strengthen the unity of Muslims and Hindus. He said that BR Ambedkar was in favor of UCC.
Ramdas Athawale said that Muslim community leaders can send their suggestions on UCC to the government and Muslims should also support UCC. Athawale accused the Congress and other opposition parties of instigating and misleading Muslims and Dalits in the name of UCC.
Athawale said that the opposition is spreading false propaganda that Narendra Modi will change the constitution. I want to tell you that Narendra Modi has become the Prime Minister to protect the Constitution. The constitution will not be changed. The effort of our government is to strengthen the Constitution. Our government is working for your welfare.
Athawale appeals to K. Chandrasekhar Rao
Ramdas Athawale appealed to opposition party leaders, including Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, to support the UCC and said it should be passed unanimously in Parliament. He appealed to K. Chandrasekhar Rao, saying that the BRS chief needs to focus on the safety of Dalits as many cases of atrocities are coming to the fore in Telangana.
