Madhya Pradesh: Woke up till 2 am on the night of counting of votes and slept with the determination that I will resign in the morning – said Shivraj Singh Chouhan
Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj singh: Expressing his commitment to the people of Madhya Pradesh, the CM of Madhya Pradesh said that my life’s resolution is how to develop Madhya Pradesh.
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on the allegations of Congress in Madhya Pradesh Assembly that he is not greedy for power. In fact, on December 22, during the winter session of the Vidhansabha, he also clarified the allegations leveled against him by the Congress.
Madhya Pradesh CM- What did Shivraj Singh Chouhan say:
In fact, the Congress alleged that Shivraj Singh Chouhan toppled the Kamal Nath government for the sake of power. Speaking on this, the Madhya Pradesh CM said, “On 11th December, the counting of votes was taking place in Madhya Pradesh. Till two in the night we saw the election results. In the result that came, Congress got 114 seats and BJP got 109 seats. We were accused of toppling power for the sake of power.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that he stayed awake till two o’clock on the night of counting of votes and slept with the determination that he would resign in the morning itself. Shivraj said that my conscience does not testify, Congress has more seats, so give them the right to form the government.
CM Shivraj said that I have decided that I will resign from the post of CM whereas people of my own party told me not to resign. But I followed my inner voice. He said that if we had to form the government only by toppling the government, then I would not have waited. But I did not talk about breaking up in any party and directly told the media that I am resigning from the post of CM.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan further said that I was going to submit my resignation, so on the way I called Kamal Nath ji and congratulated him for the victory. Immediately after this I went to the Governor and resigned and came back and told the media, Now I am free.
Expressing his commitment towards the people of Madhya Pradesh, the CM of Madhya Pradesh said that it is my life’s resolution that how Madhya Pradesh should be developed, the people of Madhya Pradesh are living in my every pore. My life and death are all for Madhya Pradesh.
