According to the official, the landslide occurred at Irshalwadi village in Khalapur tehsil around 11 pm on Wednesday. According to the initial information, 90% of the village has been buried under the debris.

Amit Shah has said that he spoke to CM Eknath Shinde regarding the landslide caused by heavy rains in Raigad, Maharashtra. 4 teams of NDRF have reached the spot and are carrying out rescue operations in coordination with the local administration. Our priority is to rescue the people there and provide immediate medical aid to the injured.
