Maharashtra: These 6 MLAs of NCP will decide the fate of Sharad Pawar and Ajit faction, know their opinion on political crisis

Maharashtra Politics: Ajit Pawar has joined NDA. It is being claimed on behalf of his faction that Ajit Pawar is now handling the command of NCP as well. Read this report of Alok Deshpande.

Only time will tell who will benefit from the ongoing political tussle in Maharashtra NCP. Both Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar are staking their respective claims on the party. 16 MLAs of the party attended the meeting called by Sharad Pawar after the rebellion of the Ajit faction. 31 MLAs are being told with Ajit Pawar.

If Ajit Pawar has to avoid the anti-defection law, then he will have to garner the support of two-thirds of the MLAs. Out of total 53 MLAs of NCP, Ajit Pawar would need the support of 37 MLAs but at present he has the support of 31 MLAs. 6 MLAs who are not yet involved in any group, they can change this political game. Both Ajit Pawar and Sharad Pawar leaders are trying to bring these MLAs in their fold.

Saroj Ahir told that she was in her constituency so could not attend any meeting. She said that she respects both Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar and will take her decision after talking to the people of her constituency.

Chandrakant alias Raju Navghare, Age- 41, Assembly Constituency- Vasmat

Raju Navghare told that he was busy in the elections of the local sugar mill, due to which he could not attend the meeting of the Legislature Party. He will give his decision after July 9.

Atul Beneke, Age – 42, Assembly Constituency – Junnar

MLA Atul Beneke had earlier supported Ajit Pawar in the rebellion. After the 2019 election results were declared, Ajit Pawar tried to form the government by joining hands with the BJP. At that time Atul had supported him but later came back and supported him on Sharad Pawar’s call. He said that he will take his decision after talking to the people of his constituency.

Daulat Daroda, Age- 55, Assembly Constituency- Shahpur

Daulat Daroda said that he could not attend the meeting called by Sharad Pawar but he supports the senior leader and will not support Eknath Shinde’s government under any circumstances.

Ashutosh Kale, Age- 37, Assembly Constituency- Kopargaon

Ashutosh Kale is currently abroad so he could not be contacted.

Nawab Malik, Age- 64, Assembly Constituency- Anushaktinagar

Nawab Malik has been in jail for some time in a money laundering case. That’s why they could not be contacted.
