Manipur Violence: ‘BJP’s focus more on manipulation in Maharashtra than Manipur’, Left parties to visit violence affected areas

The people of Manipur are going through the pain of violence. Where the situation is still not normal. Recently, this state of the country came in special discussion due to the visit of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and now a joint team of MPs of Communist Party of India (Marxist) and Communist Party of India (CPI) will be on Manipur tour from 6 to 8 July. . More than 100 people have lost their lives and nearly 40,000 have been displaced since the violence broke out in Manipur.

Focus on Maharashtra silence on Manipur

Announcing the visit of the five-member team, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) attacked the BJP governments at the Center and in the state, saying, “Claims of best governance through double engine government now stand exposed Are.”

Both the parties alleged that the BJP leadership was more interested in weakening opposition parties and creating defections in Maharashtra than working to restore peace in Manipur.

The statement by the parties said, “The people of Manipur continue to struggle for the urgent restoration of normalcy and removal of the Chief Minister, who has become a symbol of divisive politics and have lost all legitimacy to continue in office. The statement further said that the Left parties had participated in the national convention held in New Delhi on June 25, where leaders of 10 like-minded political parties and elected members of district councils of Manipur met.

‘Meet the people of Manipur’

The delegation of Left parties will meet people from all ethnic communities in both Churachandpur and Imphal Valley.
