The codename of Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car is YY8 (YY8) and it is a mid-size SUV. According to the information, Toyota is preparing this car on its latest platform 27 PL, in which 40 PL architecture will be used.

Talking about the battery pack given in Maruti Suzuki Electric SUV, the company has been able to use the Blade battery pack used in the cars of Chinese electric vehicle maker Build Your Dream (BYD).
The company can launch the Maruti Suzuki Electric SUV in the market with two battery pack variants, in which the first variant can be of 48 kWh capacity, which will give a range of 350 to 400 kilometers in a single charge. The second battery pack can be of 59 kWh capacity, so that after full charge, this electric SUV can be run for 450 to 500 km.
The company has not yet given any official information regarding the unveiling of Maruti YY8, but apart from displaying it during the 2023 Auto Expo, the company can also make its launch date and other details public.
