MCD Results: KRK tweeted on Kejriwal’s victory and said – BJP will not come for 25 years, got such answers
The Aam Aadmi Party has secured a majority in the Delhi Municipal Corporation elections. BJP is out of MCD after 15 years.
The results of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections held on 4th December are out. The Aam Aadmi Party has secured a majority in this election. This is the first time after Arvind Kejriwal became the CM of Delhi thrice when MCD has also been captured by AAP. The Aam Aadmi Party, which entered the MCD battle for the second time, has demolished the BJP’s fort of the last 15 years.
Aam Aadmi Party has won 134 seats out of total 250 wards. And BJP has won 104 seats. This election was also very bad for Congress and it won only 9 seats. While three independent candidates have won.
Whereas in the year 2017 elections, BJP got 181 seats and Aam Aadmi Party got 48 seats. And Congress got 31 seats but this time Kejriwal and his party leaders are excited by the results of MCD. Meanwhile, KRK has taken a jibe at BJP while congratulating Kejriwal on his victory.
