MG Motors has opened the booking window for its latest electric car, the MG Comet EV. The company has introduced Comet EV with 3 variants in which the first variant is Pace, the second is Play and the third is Plush variant. MG Comet EV booking process
Customers interested in buying the MG Comet EV can book the electric car online by visiting the official website of MG Motors or can also book offline by visiting their nearest MG Motor dealership. The company has fixed a token amount of Rs 11,000 for booking this car.
Industry first ‘Track and Trace’ feature introduced on MyMG app
To ensure that the delivery process is completely transparent, MG has introduced an industry-first: ‘Track and Trace’ feature (completely transparent experience from booking to delivery) on the ‘My MG’ app. This feature will allow customers to track the status of their car bookings right from their phones.

With MG’s industry-first track and trace feature, we aim to eliminate the never-ending hassle of tracking the car booking status of our customers. The customers will be able to experience their MG Comet very soon.
MG Comet EV: Price
The Comet EV will be available at a very special introductory price, starting from Rs 7.98 lakh for the Pace variant; The Play and Plush variants come at Rs 9.28 lakh and Rs. 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The offer will be limited to the first 5,000 bookings. The company will start phased deliveries of the Comet EV from the month of May.
MG Comet EV special MG e-Shield
The Comet EV is offered with an exclusive MG E-Shield package which covers repair and service costs. The special 3-3-3-8 package has been delivered. Under this package, 3 years or 1 lakh km warranty, 3 years roadside assistance (RSA), 3 labor cost free services, 3 free services will be given. The MG Comet EV comes with a 17.3 kWh Li-ion battery with IP67 rating and prismatic cell with a warranty of 8 years or 1 lakh 20 thousand kms.
In addition, MG Comet EV owners can also choose from over 80 carefully designed extended warranty and service package options starting at just Rs 50 and going up to Rs 5,000.
MG offers an optional buy-back program for the customers to easily upgrade to their next MG. When customers buy this special package, at the end of 3 years, they get an assured buyback of 60% of the original ex-showroom price.
