However, during the election campaign, he had described himself as Hanuman of PM Narendra Modi. He did not target the BJP during the entire election campaign. But his target was Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
PM Modi’s target on the opposition
PM Modi also gave an address after the meeting. PM Modi said, “The NDA was formed in 1998, but only forming governments and gaining power was not the goal of the NDA. NDA was not formed in opposition to anyone, NDA was not formed to remove anyone from power. NDA was formed to bring stability in the country.
Targeting the opposition, PM Modi said that when the alliance is due to the compulsion of power, when the alliance is with the intention of corruption, when the alliance is based on the policy of familyism, when the alliance is done keeping casteism and regionalism in mind, then that alliance does a lot of harm to the country.
PM Modi said that even when we were in the opposition, we always did positive politics. We never disrespected the mandate. He said that we never sought foreign help to oppose the governments. We remained in the opposition, but did not obstruct or become an obstacle in the development of the country.
