Nearest Metro Station Near New Parliament: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has dedicated the new Parliament building to the country. The New Parliament House is located in the heart of the Central Vista at Sansad Marg, Gokul Nagar and adjacent to the old Parliament House in the country’s capital New Delhi. It is part of the Central Vista redevelopment project, which includes, among other projects, the construction of a common central secretariat, executive enclave and the new prime minister’s residence.
The New Parliament House is located 750 meters from Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is surrounded by Vijay Chowk, India Gate, National War Memorial, Vice President’s House, Hyderabad House, Secretariat Building, PMO and PM residence, ministerial buildings and other administrative units of the Government of India.

DMRC’s Yellow and Blue lines meet at Rajiv Chowk Metro Station. Janpath Metro Station is on the Violet Line.
CS and Udyog Bhavan gates closed due to inauguration of new parliament
DMRC has closed all entry and exit gates of Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhavan metro stations due to the inauguration of the new Parliament building. New Parliament House is located near CS Metro Station. However, during this time the facility of ‘interchange’ will be available at the CS metro station i.e. passengers will be able to get down from one metro line and go to another metro line. According to the information given by DMRC, “As per the instructions received from Delhi Metro Rail Police, all entry and exit gates of CS and Udyog Bhawan stations are closed for the movement of passengers.”
