Nitin Gadkari, a minister in the Modi government, has received death threats. Nitin Gadkari received this threat through a phone call. According to information received from sources, a threatening call was received at Nitin Gadkari’s Delhi residence on Monday evening.
Sources said that Delhi Police has been informed about the threatening phone call by Nitin Gadkari’s office.
The police is investigating the matter On behalf of the Delhi Police, it was informed that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s staff was informed about the threat received through a phone call at his residence. Police sources said that the details are being verified and the investigation is on.
According to the information given by news agency PTI quoting Delhi Police, an unknown person called Nitin Gadkari’s landline number. Gadkari’s staff member received this call. During this, the caller did not give any information about himself. He said that he wanted to talk to the minister and threatened him.
A senior police personnel told that the caller spoke in English and said that ‘I have to talk to the minister, he has to be threatened’. After this, the information about the matter was given to the Delhi Police by Nitin Gadkari’s staff.
A Delhi Police official said that all the call records are being analysed. The accused had called on a landline number so we are trying to trace the number to reach the culprit. Investigation underway.
Let us tell you that this year Nitin Gadkari’s office in Nagpur has also received such calls twice. An NIA team went to Nagpur on 9 May to investigate the matter. The police had then told that the calls were made by Jayesh Pujari, a murder convict. He was arrested from a jail in Belagavi and booked under the Anti Terror Act UAPA.
