Police say the bomb disposal squad was called to the blast site following information about another grenade at the site of the explosion. Quetta police said two grenades were thrown on the road. One of which exploded but the other grenade was defused. Police said the reason behind the explosion is being ascertained. At the same time, those injured in this blast have been shifted to Bolan Medical Complex Hospital in the city.

While condemning the Sabzal Road grenade attack, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudus Bizenjo expressed concern for the injured. He has instructed the officials to provide better treatment to the injured. Along with this, he also directed the Director General of Police to ensure effective security arrangements in the city.

Issuing a directive, the Chief Minister said, “The crackdown against terrorists should continue and the intelligence-based operation should continue.” He said that no stone should be left unturned to weaken the enemies who disturb the peace.
